Bayern Munich: No Interest in Signing Cristiano Ronaldo

Subheading: Rumored Move to Bayern Munich Denied

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn Dismisses Ronaldo Acquisition

German football giants Bayern Munich have made it clear that they have no plans to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer. The club's CEO, Oliver Kahn, has stated that the club is not interested in pursuing the Portuguese forward.

Rumors had circulated that Bayern Munich could be interested in signing Ronaldo, who has been linked with a move away from Manchester United. However, Kahn has now dismissed these claims, stating that the club is not in the market for a new striker.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player, but he is not a player that we are interested in," Kahn told reporters. "We have a clear transfer strategy, and we are not going to change that."

Bayern Munich are currently in the market for a new striker to replace Robert Lewandowski, who has joined Barcelona. However, the club is not looking to spend a large sum of money on a new signing, and Ronaldo's wages would be prohibitive.

Ronaldo is now 37 years old, and his best days are arguably behind him. He has not been in the best form for Manchester United this season, and it is unclear whether he would be able to make a significant contribution to Bayern Munich.

With Bayern Munich now ruling out a move for Ronaldo, it seems increasingly likely that the Portuguese forward will remain at Manchester United for the remainder of his contract.
