McGregor has been a key player for Celtic, winning six Scottish Premiership titles, four Scottish Cups, and three Scottish League Cups. He has also played for Scotland at every age level and made his senior debut in 2017.

McGregor's new contract will keep him at Celtic until 2027. He is the club's longest-serving player and is a key part of manager Ange Postecoglou's plans.
